Pamukkale hot springs, Türkiye
Mirrors in multitude
The signature cloud-white shades of this Turkish geothermal landmark are only really brought out by the bright of day. Of course, when the warm waters of Pamukkale (translating to 'cotton castle') are flowing at high enough volume, daytime also brings out crowds clamoring for space in the springs. But as proved by this soaker-free shot, most of the travertine terraces' relaxing revellers retreat by sunset.
