Bobcat
Prowling in the shadows?
These wild cats are a rare sight due to their stealth and crepuscular habits – but just because you can't see them, doesn't mean they aren't there. The bobcat's home range covers virtually all of the United States, plus most of Mexico and a chunk of Canada. So whether they know it or not, most North Americans have these bobcats prowling through their back garden – maybe even literally. Though most of them live deep in the wilderness, more and more bobcats are making their homes in the woody outskirts of urban areas.
