The choice between 4x4 vehicle and hot-air balloon is only one dilemma facing folks seeking adventure on the savannah. Here's another – Kenya or Tanzania? While much of the unique landscape that hosts the Great Migration – including Serengeti National Park – lies within Tanzania, the similarly safari-suited Maasai Mara reserve pictured here lies just across the Kenyan border. Giraffes, hyenas, bush elephants and the African big cat trinity – lions, leopards and cheetahs – make up just a portion of the plentiful wildlife you might spot here from land or air.
