Norwegian exposure
Thanks to the North Atlantic Current (an extension of the warm Gulf Stream), Norway is actually quite temperate for its high latitude. That hardly means Norwegians are spared Boreas' bite – here in the lowlands near Oslo, locals pay for their warm summers with long, dark winters and thick layers of snow and ice. But as the Nordic saying goes, there's no bad weather, just bad clothes – so bundle up and get to work on that snow fort!
Here in the northernmost Nordic nation, the exquisite outdoors awaits those willing to bundle up a bit.
